ONLINE PROGRAM REGISTRATION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What information do I need to login to online registration?
You will need to know the facility access number from the back of the primary adult’s membership card and the date of birth for the primary adult. The facility access number is the 12-digit number located on the left side of the picture ID cards or on the back of the key tags.
What do I do if I don’t have a membership card?
If you do not have a membership card, you will click “otherwise” and fill out the attached form in its entirety. That form will be emailed to your YMCA branch. Once your branch enters your information into the system, you will be contacted with your login information.
What should I do if I try to login and I get an error message?
You should try again with a different adult’s facility access number and date of birth. If you still get an error message, contact your branch to find out who on your YMCA account is the primary adult.
Does my membership expiration date make a difference?
Yes. If your membership expires before the program ends, you will be charged the non-member rate for the program. You should renew your membership with your branch, and then register online.
Do I have to login in order to see what programs are available?
No, you can look for programs without logging in.
Do I have to login in order to register for programs?
Yes, you must login to sign up.
What types of programs are available online?
At this time, sports programs are available online. Membership to the YMCA is not available to purchase online.
How do I search for a program?
You can search for programs by branch (ex. Arlington, Williams), category (ex. Sports & Recreation), age, keyword (ex. Basketball), and program number. For the branch, category, and age, you will be able to select from a list of options.
Can I search for a program based on a specific day and time?
Yes. You have the option of doing an advanced search, which will allow you to select date ranges, day(s) of the week, and gender.
Can I sign up more than one person at a time?
Yes, as long as the individuals you want to sign up are part of your YMCA account, you can register for more than one person in one session.
Can I sign up for child care or pay my balance online?
No, at this time you cannot sign up for child care or pay your balance.
What do I do if I have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that does not appear online?
If you have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that does not appear online, you must contact your YMCA branch to register.
What payment options do I have for online registration?
Your payment options for online registration are MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
Can I use YMCA credits or gift certificates toward my online purchase?
No, you cannot use YMCA program credit or gift certificates when registering online.
Is online registration secure?
Yes. The online registration site will secure your private information using thawte SSL certificate.
At what point is my registration complete?
Your registration is complete and your space is reserved when you have paid for your selected programs.
How long to I have to complete my registration?
There is not a time limit set for completing registrations. However, you cannot allow your computer to be idle for more than five minutes. If you are idle for more than five minutes, you will lose your space and will have to start the registration process over again.
What proof will I have that I registered and paid for a program?
You will receive an email confirmation that you will bring to the YMCA branch on the first day of classes.
Can I cancel a program online and receive a refund?
No, all cancellations must take place at the YMCA branch as well as credit/refund requests.
